Presentation

Last week we  had  presentation in  class  it  was  nice  to  see  how  many   dirffrent  culture  are  out there  i  think  the  people   who  did  the  presentation   did  a very    good  job   on  them. We need to  realize that  all the  families  we  will  be  working  with  are  going to  be  from  all  culture by  asking   questions  to  the  familys  we  will  be  working  with  will  hlep  us  to  understand  there  need  and  there  culture   to  help  them   to  fit  in  as   the  live  in  canada . We  also   have  to  respect   there  religious services and  to   knowledge there  values  and  beleefs and  consider this  when  we  are  visiting  there  homes. All in  all  as  a child  youth   worker  we  are  here   to  help  them    to  feel   good  about them  selfs  and  to make  them feel  welcome

last   week   we had guests in  to  talk   about  being .   lesbian, gay,bisexual,transgender as  child   youth  workers  its  inportant  to   let   kids  know  that  is   ok  to  be  who  u are  no matter   what   you  are   its  hard now  a days   being  a  kid  and  comeing  out  most  kids  are   so  scard of  telling   there  mom  or  dad   that they  are  gay   or  lesbian . or  even  there   friends   becaues  they  think  that  there   friends  and  family  will not be  helpful and  treat  them   diffrent.as  a  child  youth  worker  we  are  there    to   help  them   and  to  talk  to  them  about   this  stuff .  and  to  show  them  its  ok  to  be  who  u are  i think  that   people  need  to  really   think  about  being  so  hate  full  about  people   being  gay ,lesbian  or  bisexual ,they  are  people  to  no  matter    what   they  are  .
